Meet the Founder

My name is Antwon “Cadi” Goodman, and I’m the founder of Growing With Cadi and The Rooted Greenhouse Collective. What started as a simple love for plants has grown into a movement built on education, creativity, and community.

When I first began gardening, I had no idea it would become such a powerful part of my life. Over time, I discovered that gardening teaches more than how to grow plants — it teaches patience, balance, and the value of nurturing growth in everything around us. That realization led me to create spaces where people can learn, share, and grow together, no matter their experience level.

As a father of six and a lifelong learner, I’ve dedicated myself to helping others find peace, purpose, and possibility through gardening. Whether I’m writing, teaching, or creating new products for The Rooted Greenhouse Collective, my mission is always the same — to inspire growth in all its forms.

Because I truly believe that we can’t grow unless we all grow.
